So my trip planning is going well, it is something that is making me extremely happy during a super tough quarter. I have a tentative itinerary set, and it includes a two day, one night stay in Tours. This will allow me to get my fill up the beautiful chateaux in the Loire Valley. I am looking at a few tour companies (3) and I think I will do a combination to see everything I want to see.
I have found a student group that will be in Paris around the same time as me and I may join them for a day or two. But at this point, the idea of being independent has too much appeal to be abandoned.
I've also begun making a budget. Did you know a two week Paris trip is expensive? I will have to save save save the next few months. Only one major tuition payment to go and I'm done with that.
In my next post I foresee actually writing down my imaginary itinerary with links to sites and all.
